For carriers

Your drivers queue at gates while site staff ring your office to confirm who they are. The Safe Freight Program replaces the phone call: one credential per driver and vehicle, checked at any participating gate in seconds — dated, on the record.

Why now

The amended Heavy Vehicle National Law commences on 1 August 2026, sharpening the expectation that duty-holders can evidence how they manage driver and vehicle risk. SFP puts that evidence on the record: dated, at the gate.

What your fleet gets

One credential that travels

A driver's SFP record belongs to the driver and travels with them across sites — no per-site paperwork folder, no re-faxing licences. Your vehicles carry their own records, with each credential's state, dates, and method visible at any check.

Fewer calls to your office

When a site can check standing at the gate, your allocator stops being the verification desk. Whether you run one truck as a transport operator or a fleet of hundreds, the check is the same: dated, on the record, in seconds.

How it works for your drivers

You assert that a driver works with you, and the platform invites them — by SMS or email — to claim their record.

The record is the driver's: claiming puts it under their control, and confirmed standing arises from the driver's own actions — it is never granted by you or by SFP.

Before you supply a driver's details, you give them SFP's collection notice — the platform provides it, and it tells the driver exactly what's visible and to whom.

Your fleet view

You see what you've asserted: your associations, their states, and the status of the invitations you've initiated — your fleet, and only your fleet.

What you assert is warranted by you; what the driver confirms is theirs. The platform records which is which, with dates and provenance.

What standing is — and isn't

Standing is program-relative, always dated, always method-identified — never a certification, approval, clearance or licence, never a statement that a law has been complied with, and never a statement of fitness for any duty or purpose. SFP informs decisions; it never makes them. How the program works →
