Your SFP Driver Passport
One record that's yours — your credentials, your carrier associations, your current standing — carried as a QR code you present at the gate. It travels with you across carriers, and standing always resolves live at the moment of the scan: what was checked, when, and by what method.
Who sees what
At a public check — anyone, no login — your name never appears: participation, SFP code, and dated standing only. No driver's name appears on any SFP surface that does not require a login.
Signed-in site operators checking their gate see more: your name and SFP code, your standing, and your current carrier associations, each with a plain-language reason for its state.
What they never see: your licence number, associations that have ended, or your work history. The platform shows current standing — it is not a record of where you've worked.
How your record starts
Your record is usually created by a carrier you work with: they record that you drive for them and supply your name to do it. From that moment, your record — your name, your SFP code, and that carrier — is visible to signed-in site operators, marked as not yet claimed by the driver. Your carrier is required to give you SFP's collection notice, which tells you this before it happens.
The invitation to claim comes by SMS or email. If it isn't for you, tapping "Not me" cancels it and stops further SFP invitations to that number or address.
If you never claim your record, it disappears from every surface as soon as no carrier association remains, and is de-identified within 30 days — in every case within 24 months.
Claiming puts you in control
Claiming your record makes it yours to run: you confirm an association or end it — confirmed standing arises only from your own actions, never granted by a carrier or by SFP. You can withdraw your visibility at any time, which removes your record from site-operator view entirely. You can ask for corrections, raise a dispute, and get a copy of everything the platform holds about you.
What standing is
Your standing is a dated state within the Safe Freight Program, with the method behind each item shown — it speaks for itself at any gate, without a phone call to anyone. How the program works →
